How many times have you lifted toilet seats with your foot? It requires significant balance and the right kind of shoe. No flip-flops...ick. You need a sole edge/lip, so no shoes without protruding soles. Even with this right combination, how many times have you almost fell, or had the seat slam back down after getting it halfway up? Or have you tried to grab the seat edge with toilet paper covered hands? As far as I know Kohler is the first to come up with an integrated handle that is away from the potential splash zone. This is a fantastic. A simple, yet elegant solution. Why has no-one else done this? Why has Kohler not also designed a closed front version for home applications?

why blog? |-|I love design. This includes architecture, product and graphic design. But lets be clear. I hate bad design. No need to be lazy or embrace lack of creativity. If you are spending time to design something, make it look appetizing and appropriate to the application and make sure it satisfies it's intended function/need. archives |-|categories |-| |
